9 days, February 7 – 15, 2026 (Saturday – Sunday)

Lease cost is $4,000 for up to 4 hunters in your single group. Guests allowed.

Harvest quota per hunter = a total of 3 deer: 

Either {1 axis buck + 2 axis does}  OR  {0 axis bucks + 3 axis does}

Optional 4th axis deer for $1,500

Hunters must provide their own pop-up blinds & feeders.

Recently renovated hunting cabin is included & offers a full kitchen, bathroom (sink, toilet, shower), bunk beds, water, electricity, HVAC & lighted gambrel for deer cleaning.

A creek runs through the property.

Gillespie County Hunting Leases

Gillespie County is in the Hill Country wildlife district of Texas and comprises 1,061 square miles of the Edwards Plateau region with plateaus and limestone hills. The county seat is the town of Fredericksburg, which is about sixty-five miles northwest of San Antonio. There are various game species for hunting including White-tailed Deer, Exotics, Javelina, Hog, Quail, Turkey, Predators, Dove and Duck. Attractions include local wineries, the town of Luckenbach, and various local festivals and points of interest.
